Yuri Dos Santos Joins Marbella United
Yuri Dos Santos, 17, a Marbella homegrown, has joined Marbella United FC. Yuri grew up in Spain and has played in Spain since his début at the age of 5. His football career to date has led him to play at the European Copa de Amsterdam in May 2015 for the U21, as a left winger for Ajax’s affiliate club AS Trencin. He is also part of the U21 Canadian National Soccer Team as a left winger. The team is preparing for the U21 world cup which will take place in Korea in 2017. Other clubs Yuri has featured in are: Stoke City (English Premier League), West Bromwich Albion (English Premier League), Walsall (League 1, England),Getafe CF (La Liga, Spain) Ajax (Eredivise, Holland) and various other clubs across Europe.
He is also what is called a pedigree footballer, natural talent runs in the family, from his father who was also a good footballer and played with S.L. Benfica, Portugal during Figo’s time. Since joining, Yuri is has featured in multiple u18 games and showcase games. He has been an excellent addition to the program as he continues his career in football.
