German Pro Tour

 PRO OVERVIEW

We moved our program from Europe in February 2022 because American minors can register and play for Academy teams in professional clubs in Argentina, whereas non-European minors cannot in Europe.

During the January to March 2024 transfer window, Mendoza United FC had 13 Americans make academy teams in professional clubs in Argentina.

Most of our players want to establish professional careers in Argentina and then transfer to European clubs. Argentina is second in the world for having non-Europeans signed with professional clubs in Europe.

The list below is the top 10 non-European Union countries that produce the most professional football players in Europe:

  1. Brazil

  2. Argentina

  3. Uruguay

  4. Senegal

  5. Ivory Coast

  6. Colombia

  7. Serbia

  8. Nigeria

  9. Morocco

  10. Algeria

In 2022, nine of our American players signed professional contracts in Europe.
