21 YEARS OF FOOTBALL EXCELLENCE

2015-2016 – Marbella United’s Inaugural year

· 52 Players congregate in Marbella, Spain for a year of training and matches
· Competes against Seven LaLiga U18 Academy Teams
· Competes against Nine first division pro clubs, U19 academy teams in Spain, Germany, Holland Belgium, Gibralatar

2016-2017 – Continued Progress

· Recruits another solid class of aspiring footballers
· Competes against the first division, first teams of professional clubs from Czech Republic, China, Finland, and Norway
· Three academy players signed with professional clubs in Spain, Holland and Greece

2017-2018 – Patrick Aussems returns as Head Coach/Technical Director

· Club traveled to France and Belgium to compete against professional division 1 club reserve teams
· MUFC player tryouts offered for both Belgium and France teams
· MUFC player tryouts offered in Greece, Norway, Spain and the Ukraine
· MUFC players sign in Gibraltar
· At the conclusion of the season, Patrick Aussems pursues National coaching opportunity with Tanzanian National team and a first division team in the Tanzanian league

2018-2019 – Fourth Year in Marbella, Spain

· Establishes a relationship with local school to help infuse footballers into the Spanish culture and language
· MUFC played U19 Belgium National Team and Professional Tour in Portugal
· MUFC Players sign contracts in Finland and Sweden

2019-2020 – Expands to Portugal and USA

· Largest recruiting class of 70 players in five-year history from the United States, Canada, Trinidad, and Brazil.
· Patrick Aussems returns to in the second semester after a successful stint in the African Pro League
· Portugal pro coaches join staff – including professional keeper Palo Graca
· Two-month Portugal Tour cut short due to the Corona Virus

2020-2021 Relocates to Cali, Colombia & Belgrade, Serbia due to Covid-19

The First Semester was operated in Cali, Colombia
played against U17 Deportivo Cali from the First division
The Second Semester was in Belgrade, Serbia.
Players had the chance to experience South American & European Football firsthand in one season.
5 players earned Pro Trials in Sweden with 1st Div AIK and 2nd Div Vasalund.
5 players had a 30-day trial at FK Red Star Belgrade with their youth Champions League Squad.

2021-2022 Second Season in Serbia we moved to beautiful Arandelovac, Serbia. One hour from Belgrade.

Pro Tour to Montenegro to play 1st div Academies
9 players signed their 1st European Pro Contracts in Serbia and Montenegro.

2022-23 A New season and new beginning, we opened our new location in Mendoza, Argetina!

2022 Chile Pro Tour: Friendly matches against Professional Academies in Santiago, Chile.

2023-24 Players had success in advancing to pro clubs in Argentina

14 Americans advanced to Pro Clubs in Argentina
Diego Pozo, Former Pro Player & Coach, 2010 Argentina World Cup player under Diego Maradona joins as Head Coach.
11 players earn Pro Trials at clubs in Mendoza and Buenos Aires.
2023 Buenos Aires Pro Tour: Friendly matches against 1st Div Pro Academies reserve teams
Players earned trials at Godoy Cruz, Independiente Rivadavia in Mendoza and Tigre, Banfield, Racing, Lanus, and Almagro in Buenos Aires.
