Mendoza United F.C. is a full-time football academy that combines an American accredited education and a Argentinian/European football experience for our student-athletes.
Located in Mendoza, Argentina, we offer a platform that allows our players to maximize their potential by exposing them to elite Argentinian competition. By providing an overall cross-cultural experience both on and off the field, we firmly believe we are preparing our young men to showcase their talents and take their career to the next level both as a student and athlete. Recruiting talent from different corners of the globe further enhances this experience; our diversified player pool enables multiple football backgrounds to come together and strengthens our player education both on the field and in the classroom.
Objective
Mendoza United F.C. is a player first academy that develops and closes the gap between American soccer and European football. MUFC focuses on technical skills, individual, and team tactics. For non-European players to catch up with their peers in Europe, they must be able to read the game, learn anticipation skills, have quality movement away from the ball, and significant improvement with practical technical skills in high-level game situations.
Recruiting the strongest talent from different corners of the globe further enhances this experience; our diversified player pool enables multiple football backgrounds to come together and enhances our player education both on the field and in the classroom.
WHY Argentina?
SOCCER: Football is the most popular sport in Argentina and a vital part of the culture. Recently the Wall Street Journal named Argentina the most impressive country for developing young players. The country has produced footballers who became known worldwide. Players such as Aguero, Di maria and Messi are the most noted Argentinian footballers. The main domestic football competition is the Argentine Primera División. The dominant teams are River Plate, Boca Juniors, and Racing.
SAFETY: Mendoza has rated the 4th safest country in the world, according to the same analysis, the USA was ranked 65th.
CLIMATE: Mendoza boasts a warm temperate, climate and has the highest number of sunny days per year of the South Anerican countries.
CULTURE: Mendoza is on at the tip of the Andes bordered to Chile. Because of its beautiful Mautain ranges and historical heritage, it is one of the most visited places in South America. Travelers can see Beautiful Nature and winerys.
FRIENDLY People: Argentine people are known for being easy-going, welcoming, and warm; they are known to be willing to go out of their way to help foreigners. Navigating in Mendoza is easy as most speak English very well. Argentina is known as the most English speaking of the South American countries.
COST of LIVING: Mendoza offers arguably the lowest cost of living in South America. Just about everything, from accommodation to groceries, eating out, merchandise is affordable.
