Mendoza United F.C. is a full-time football academy that offers its student-athletes an American-accredited education and an Argentinian/European football experience.

Located in Mendoza, Argentina, we offer a platform that allows our players to maximize their potential by exposing them to elite Argentinian competition. By providing an overall cross-cultural experience both on and off the field, we are preparing our young men to showcase their talents and take their careers to the next level as students and athletes. Recruiting talent throughout North America enhances this experience; our diversified player pool enables multiple football backgrounds to come together and strengthens our player education both on the field and in the classroom.

Objective

Mendoza United F.C. is a player-first academy that develops and closes the gap between American soccer and European football. We develop North Americans to compete with and against Argentines and Europeans in professional clubs and American universities.

WHY Argentina? 

  1. SOCCER: Football is the most popular sport in Argentina and a vital part of the culture. Recently the Wall Street Journal named Argentina the most impressive country for developing young players. The country has produced footballers who became known worldwide. Players such as Aguero, Di Maria, and Messi are the most noted Argentinian footballers. The main domestic football competition is the Argentine Primera División. The dominant teams are River Plate, Boca Juniors, and Racing.

  2. SAFETY: Mendoza is rated the 4th safest country in the world; according to the same analysis, the USA was ranked 65th.

  3. CLIMATE:  Mendoza boasts a warm, temperate climate and has the highest number of sunny days per year of the South American countries.  

  4. CULTURE: Mendoza is at the tip of the Andes, bordering Chile. Because of its beautiful Mountain ranges and historical heritage, it is one of the most visited places in South America. Travelers can see Beautiful Nature and wineries.

  5. FRIENDLY People: Argentines are known for being easy-going, welcoming, and warm; they are willing to go out of their way to help foreigners. Navigating in Mendoza is easy, as most speak English very well. Argentina is known as the most English-speaking country in South America.

  6. COST OF LIVING: Mendoza arguably offers the lowest living cost in South America. Just about everything, from accommodation to groceries, eating out, and merchandise, is affordable.
