Even more MUFC Players given opportunities in Spain

After having three players sign pro already, MUFC have prepared the next crop of players by arranging opportunities to trial with top teams in the south of Spain.First off we have Tommy Buono (Virginia) whom has been training with the Marbella FC U18’s, Marbella FC are a Division 2B club, with the U18’s competing in the Honors league (National League). Over the past couple of weeks Tommy has been under the close eye of their coaches in which a decision will be made in the imminent future. Tommy has had this to say about his experience so far:“Training with a division 1 U-18 team is such a great experience. It is an extreme eye opener. The speed, quality, and benefits are on a whole other level. Training with them alone is an experience that has made this trip amazing for me.”The 6ft 1 forward has made a huge impact for MUFC in both the blue and U18’s scoring 5 goals in as many matches. A hardworking player that has been given a deserved opportunity.Next up is a selection of players that are benefiting from the partnership of MUFC and U.D. San Pedro, with Dan Man (Hong Kong) John Rogers (New York) Lucius Cary (California) & Kyo Adachi (California) all training with the U.D. San Pedro B team the week commencing Monday 23rd November. As seen previously with James Queree (Jersey, United Kingdom) making a mark in the first team, this partnership allows MUFC players to train and experience a high level Spanish team with the opportunity for the players to be signed. All 4 of the players have shown consistent performances for MUFC Blue and like others when MUFC Coaches believe they are ready to be exposed to a higher level they will promote the players that have shown the right attitude and applied themselves on a daily basis. Finally, Doug Stevenson, Adrian Velasquez, John Rogers and Nicholas Niang have been training with CD Cala de Mijas a 4th division team that are looking to add the talent of the four mentioned to their ranks to help them push for promotion. All 4 have demonstrated their attacking abilities that would benefit this team and have benefited both the MUFC Blue and Orange teams thus far in the season. All these trials and training experiences are adding to our players maturity and development. We aim to keep these type of experiences going for several other of our players and hopefully will ensure they are prepared for when they have the opportunity to train with Division 2-4 teams from Germany, Holland and Norway in 2016.
