MUFC's Elijah Akin Features in High-Profile Games

Over the Christmas break, MUFC player Elijah Akin traveled to the US Pro Tour Select Team at the LA Galaxy Complex Center where he participated in games against reserve teams from Boca Juniors, River Plate and Chivas. The purpose of the program is to select players for the US U23 National Team. Akin played at center back and captained the team in all three games as well as being named man of the match for two of the games by his coaches. After Akin’s impressive three games, he is now waiting to hear if he will participate in the Spring European tour and continue to the next step of the elite U23 national team selection.
