Former MUFC player signs for Professional club AS Trenčín

Former Marbella United FC player, Yuri Dos Santos (18) has just signed a professional football contract to play with AS Trenčín, affiliate club of the famous Ajax of Amsterdam, Netherlands.The Marbella Native joined MUFC last year and was a key figure in our U18’s side and joined us our European Professional Tour of Germany, Holland & Belgium. Yuri is a technically gifted left-winger who is of both dual Canadian and Portuguese nationality. His desire, passion, persistence and talent were instrumental to getting Yuri this well deserved first contract.Prior to joining MUFC in late 2015, Yuri has trained with local side Marbella FC, Dutch powerhouse Ajax and English Premier League sides West Brom & Stoke.Yuri was just one of several players who had professional looks from MUFC’s 2015/2016 squad, with former teammate Tommy Buono (18) currently training in Holland. With MUFC’s squad coming together nicely after an intensive pre season, we are very excited to see more opportunities for deserving players.We wish Yuri the best of luck on his professional journey and look forward to following his successes in the future.
