Belgrade United FC's Response to Covid-19

In response to COVID-19, this year we developed a plan B, C and D, in the event the pandemic interferes with plan A. Flexibility will be required of all Americans, and citizens of the world, as we manage around these unprecedented times.  Flexibility is something our club is accustomed to and we feel confident our carefully executed plans will prepare us well for successfully managing through several possible “what if” scenarios. What If the European Boarders do not open?Delayed Season Start: We have delayed the start of the season to Sept. 1, giving more time to pivot should this happen.Other Locations: We have formed partnerships with clubs in other soccer powerhouse countries outside of Europe so if this virus does not slow down, the progress of the players won’t should we not be able to train and play in Europe this season.Scale the U.S Operation: This year we are opening up a U.S location for U12-U14 players. We are prepared to scale this operation to accommodate our 15-23 year old players in the U.S. We have European trained and licensed coaches prepared to live in the U.S for the Season. Should the boarders open up, we may consider travel to Europe to play European teams.New Refund Policy: In the unfortunate event COVID 19 restrictions make it impossible to have a program, for this year we have implemented a refund policy to protect families who sign a contract and the program does not proceed as a result of COVID 19 restrictions. We will always follow the best soccer opportunities working within any limitations that COVID 19 brings us this season.
