Diego Pozo is a good fit for developing American players because of his experience as a player and coaching both senior professional teams and academy players. He understands why Americans need to learn fundamentals to develop their football IQ, game intelligence, and high-level technical skills to compete professionally or in quality college soccer programs in the United States. Along with his coaching education from the Argentina Football Federation, he traveled to Europe for a year to study methodology and player development at some of the top clubs in the world, including Barcelona.
