2016-2017 Season Overview

Our 17-day European Tour, during which we played high-quality professional club academies in Germany, Holland, and Belgium, highlighted 2016.

Marbella United FC Under 19 and 17 teams went on our 2016 Six-Game Tour verse Villarreal C.F., Levante U.D., and Valencia C.F. Both of our teams played one game each day Monday through Wednesday this week.

Marbella United FC’s second game in 2017 was with a professional first team. On March 7, 2017, MUFC hosted BRYNE FK from Norway in Marbella. Bryne FK developed the Norwegian Football star, Erling Haaland.

Bryne Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from the town of Bryne. Founded in 1926, they currently play in Norwegian football's second-highest division, Adeccoligaen.

Marbella United FC Wins first Pro Game and two players earn professional trials!
MUFC defeated Eidsvold TF from the 2nd division in Norway 1-0 in Marbella, Spain.

Marbella United FC played a professional 1st team for the first time in its 16-month history, on February 11, 2017, at Marbella Football Center. The Chinese club boasts an average crowd of 60,000 fans per game and had several first-class Brazilian professionals who helped create a special brand of football.

Beijing Sinobo Guoan F.C. is a professional Chinese football club that currently participates in the Chinese Super League under license from the Chinese Football Association


2016 German, Holland & Belgian Pro Tour

Marbella United's U18s and U21's played their first game of the European Tour versus F.C. Zwolle, of the Dutch first division. Our U18's tied 4-4 and the Under 21's lost 1-0. Both teams had a strong and competitive match.

In March 2016, U19 Club Brugge (First Division in Belgium) scored in the Final four minutes to defeat MUFC 2-1.

Anjan Bista traveled with Ananta Tamang and joined Marbella United FC for the 2016 Tour of Holland, Germany, and Belgium. The young stars of Nepal joined their new MUFC teammates seeking exposure and European opportunities.

On March 29, 2016, Marbella United FC drew two games vs. the Go-Ahead Eagles (Dutch Division 2) U17's 1-1 and 19's 4-4. Game.
